Five wins for Biasion, three for Alen and whopping ten for Lancia. Team won all events they entered except Corsica.

Besides incredible win-ratio, another proof of Lancia's consistency was points finishing ratio of Biasion, Alen and young Alex Fiorio. All finished in points six times and in fact Alen did not retire even once.

In the opposite scale of reliability is Hannu Mikkola or rather, Mazda. Car broke down five times and while on course to win RAC, Hannu slipped of the road to sixth retirement of the season.

In terms of stage wins, Alen was fastest man of the season with a clear margin. But in terms of stages in the lead, Biasion is superior.
