It is interesting to note that eventual Champion Waldegard won "only" two events against Mikkola's four but as Bjorn scored two more podium finishes than his team-mate, title went to swede.

Between them, Waldegard and Mikkola scored five wins for Ford. That left blue oval only four points short of theoretical maximum score as rest of the points came from Bjorn's two second places.
