Ogier returned to winning ways after two rally hiatus. Leading throughout the rally, he was initially chased by Hirvonen but was never really under any threat or pressure.

Neuville finished second, thanks to both his own mature drive as well as mistakes of others. With power stage extra points he passed Hirvonen and Loeb to 3rd overall in championship.

Latvala's rally was ruined in first stage puncture but string of fastest times saw him recover to third overall by the finish line.
