Oliver Solberg

New Toyota recruit Oliver Solberg immediately paid back the confidence team put upon him. He seized lead from SS2 and held it over rest of the rally despite very foggy first day and tricky, snowy conditions over next days. His stunning time on SS4 gained him a lead of a minute which he managed over rest of the rally despite a puncture on SS5 and small off on SS12 (which he still won regardless). Adrien Fourmaux

Behind three Toyotas, Hyundai drivers Fourmaux (pictured) and Neuville had their own private battle. Initially Neuville was faster but he went into a ditch on SS9, losing a minute and position to Fourmaux. Adrien had several spins and could not get anywhere near of Toyotas but finished 4th overall. Jon Armstrong

M-Sport's historical run of 321 consecutive points finishes since 2002 Monte Carlo came to an end as both McErlean and Armstrong failed to finish. McErlean had no less than three offs whereas Armstrong (pictured) was as high as 3rd at one point but slipped down after a puncture until he crashed on SS16.
