Ogier was fast but battled with Evans for most of the rally. He was able to make better times on stages on second runs, extending his lead slightly on those. On final day, Ogier pressed harder, claiming not only the overall win but also maximum points from Sunday and Powerstage to close gap in championship to just three points.

Hyundai did not score any points at all because Fourmaux crashed, Neuville retired with wiper problem and while Tanak (pictured) did finish he was not nominated for manufacturer points. Fourmaux was fastest of the three until he ripped off half of the right side body panels of his car on opening stage of final day and retired.

After McErlean's heavy crash on SS3, Munster was sole M-Sport Ford remaining. His pace was not very good and he was nearly overtaken by Rovanpera who had lost several minutes on puncture on first day. Due to numerous retirements and delays for other drivers, Munster did finish fifth overall.
