Many of Toyota drivers fared well, except Evans who had unfortunate role of being first on the road. Rovanpera suffered from similar fate but managed to claim third in the end. Katsuta ran as high as second until Ogier (pictured) went past and Ogier also inherited the lead after Tanak hit trouble on second day.
Tanak led for two days and seemed to have speed to win the rally until power steering failed on penultimate stage of the second day, dropping him to third overall. Gutted Tanak got small revenge as he overhauled Rovanpera to claim second in final day.

M-Sport trailed everyone else and no matter how hard their drivers tried, that did not change. Here is McErlean, using every inch of the road and then some.
