Ott Tanak

Tanak's win was, even according to his own words, the hardest fought battle of his wins. Road position for opening day was bad but he still managed to take and keep the lead. Broken damper and spin on second day saw his lead shrunk to just four seconds, which he then extended and kept until the end. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Thierry Neuville

Also Thierry suffered from his road position on first day and suffered worse than others. On second day his pace improved but he gained places from Toyota's problems, up to third after Latvala retired on second day and second after Meeke retired on Power Stage. Teemu Suninen

Steady stream of retirements and problems saw Suninen, who also had his own problems with lack of power on SS10, finish best of the rest at fourth overall. He had been fighting a losing battle with Lappi but gained that place back when Lappi rolled on final day. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
