Ogier lost first two gears on first day, struggling to get around slow but thankfully short spectator stage. After Tanak retired, Sebastien was left battling with Latvala for the lead. Despite not winning the Power Stage, he still pipped Toyota and claimed overall win. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window

Toyota and Tanak were again very fast, posting fastest times and holding lead until he ploughed sump guard deep into the ground and broke cooling system. That left Latvala (pictured) to try and win, but Ogier's superior speed over tarmac section was his fate. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Craig Breen
