Despite sweeping the road and suffering from that, Neuville kept his nose clean and as others fell to various problems, he crept up the leaderboard until at SS9 he took lead after Sordo's tyre delaminated. At the end, Hyundai scored 1-2-3 win thanks to Ogier's roll on final stage.

Toyota had a multitude of problems during the rally. Katsuta stopped on SS3 after he damaged a wheel. Evans punctured on SS1 and then had turbo problem for next two stages, losing minutes. Ogier (pictured) was leading when he too had turbo problem at the end of first day - and then dramatically rolled on Power Stage but finished.

Despite various troubles, all works drivers finished except Munster. His team-mate Fourmaux (pictured) broke steering arm on heavy landing on SS4 and retired. At that point, he had shown good speed and was second overall. He rejoined for subsequent days but had little to gain, except points for Super Sunday and Power Stage which he won.
