Tanak turned an important corner with his win. He broke Toyota's run of wins, claimed Hyundai's first win for 2025 season and also kept Ogier in bay in final day despite having worrying gearbox issue.
Ogier had unfavourable road position for first day but he fared much better than team-mates Evans and Rovanpera who ran immediately before and after him. As others had punctures, Ogier kept his nose clean and chased Tanak but ultimately couldn't catch him.

Various trouble plagued M-Sport squad, with Sesks suffering from fuel system problems and Munster was forced to retire for good at the end of Saturday with technical problems. McErlean (pictured) did finish but lowly 12th due to changing a wheel on SS2.
