Rovanpera started first on the road, being championship leader and was tipped to suffer from that position. Despite this handicap, he managed to briefly lead in opening day before stamping down his foot on second day, forcing his way into lead. Evans was fighting against Neuville when he unexpectedly went off and retired. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window

Neuville's rally was relatively good, he was happy with the car and even led early on until suffering from wheelspin on second morning. He also overshot a junction on SS11, briefly dropping to fourth but recovered and finished second overall after Evans retired. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Gus Greensmith

M-Sport's lead driver Breen went off into a snowbank on SS2. That left Greensmith (pictured) and Fourmaux to keep up team's hopes but both were quite slow. Latter suffered from engine problems and retired on road section in third day, leaving Greensmith to finish 5th overall as best Ford. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
