Thierry Neuville

Neuville initially wasn't happy with the handling of the car but still was fastest Hyundai. On final long stage of the second day after Tanak's problems, Thierry smelled blood and overhauled Evans to take lead. He lost the lead first thing next morning but regained it after Evans too hit problems. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Sebastien Ogier

Also Ogier was unsatisfied with his car, complaining about chronic understeering and ending first day in sixth position. On following days he gained positions when first Tanak and then Evans hit troubles, ending very surprising second overall. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Elfyn Evans

The only driver in the podium that was satisfied with the car and his driving was Elfyn Evans and for a reason. His rally ended with disappointing third as he suffered puncture on Power Stage and lost lead he had so hard fought for over three days Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Ott Tanak

Toyota was fast but their effort was decimated by punctures. Meeke got his on first stage, Latvala on SS5 and again on SS11 where also Tanak (pictured) lost his lead for same reason. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
