Flooding caused cancellation of two stages and wet conditions were challenging but VW still managed to win. This time winner was Latvala, who kept his head cool despite conditions of first day and gearbox scare on second day.

Evans had never before competed in Corsica but that did not stop him from taking the overnight lead after first day and then successfully defend second overall from Mikkelsen's attacks.

Meeke was again faster of the two Citroens but Ostberg was not that far behind which was a surprise since his performance on tarmac has not been convincing.

Hyundai got bad start when Neuville broke suspension two km's into stage one while Sordo picked puncture on next one. That left Paddon best Hyundai, again.
