Ogier inherited lead from Tanak after fourth stage and from then on, he drove steadily and stayed out of trouble. Ogier knew that Suninen wouldn't be a threat and Tanak would run out of distance to become a threat as final day was cancelled. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Ott Tanak

On third stage, Tanak was ten seconds faster than anybody else but it all came tumbling down on next one where he damaged rear suspension and dropped to eight overall. For the rest of the rally, he drove hard to regain places and finished second overall. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Teemu Suninen

Suninen sat second for most of the rally, unable to catch Ogier and content to defend his position against charging Tanak. Unfortunately, Suninen lost brakes on one wheel on SS18 and dropped to third. While disappointment, that was still good result for him. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
