Citroen was again better on high altitude, allowing high-flying Loeb to grab full score once again. This time it was not without fight, though.

Challenger number one was Loeb's team mate Sebastien Ogier, who led most of the rally. Unfortunately, he had an unnecessary accident and retired in final day.

This time Hirvonen's cautious strategy paid off. Ogier's off and Petter Solberg's and Latvala's punctures elevated him to second and his sole stage win was on Power Stage, netting him extra points.
