Third year and this time changes are non-existent. First part is reserved for high quality articles by well-known motorsport journalists and latter part for coverage of individual world rallies with results. Adverts take up considerable amount of pages amidst the articles and make reading somewhat an annoying experience. That is compensated by the high quality of the text.
Text is by such writers as Peter Foubisher, Graham Robson, Peter Newton, Nigel Fryatt, Jeremy Walton, Reinhard Klein, Mike Greasley, Hugh Bishop and Steve Fellows. Pictures are by Reinhard Klein, Hugh Bishop, LAT Photographic, Jim Bamber, Michael John Cornish, Andre Marzoli and Peter Foubisher.

Stig Blomqvist - Reluctant Hero
Peter Foubister talks to 1984 World Champion Stig Blomqvist, mostly concentrating on the past season, workings at Audi and some comparison talk between now and early days.
The Top Ten
Editor's opinion of who were the top ten drivers in 1984.
World Championship Review
Review of the 1984 season by Peter Foubister.
The Mini Cooper
Graham Robson's series of technical articles continues with Mini Cooper, perhaps the most classic rally car from pre-WRC era. Interestingly, the technical aspects of the Mini are left in the shadow of competition history and inter-British politics and several comparisons to then up-coming MG Metro 6R4 are presented.
Cesare Fiorio: Indicating left and turning right
A surprisingly long article about Cesare Fiorio. While there are hints pointing towards personal meeting between author Peter Newton and Fiorio, reader is left guessing whether the article is based on an actual interview or not. It gives a good picture of Fiorio as a person, his background and influence not only on Lancia's motorsport activities but on Italian motorspors in general.
Four-Wheel Drive
Jeremy Walton writes in depth about technical problems and advantages, theory and practice of four-wheel drive.
Jean Todt: Aggressive Ambition
One page interview with Peugeot Talbot Sport supremo Jean Todt by Nigel Fryatt. Peugeot had just launched their new 205T16 in a dominant way and there is no doubts about their success, enabling Todt to speak and Fryatt to write in a straigthforward way. As title suggests, the image painted is one of aggressive and ambitious man who has for a once been given free reins and has grasped the opportunity with both hands.
The Safari Rally
Seven pages of Reinhard Klein's photographs from Safari Rally with one page short article explaining why Safari is so fascinating event for Klein and description of each picture - in the article, photos themselves have no captions to distract.
