Latvala shot into lead after Day 1 and this time his nerve held. An almost faultless drive netted him first non-Citroen win in Argentina for nine years.

Ogier drove safely when conditions were tricky but this time he could not be fast enough on better conditions. Instead of going for win at all cost he settled for second and safe points haul.

Meeke was under pressure to perform following disastrous results from previous rounds. He inherited third after both Mikkelsen and Neuville hit trouble and kept this position until the end.
