In face of Skoda scaling down their activities for 2004 season, Didier becomes free agent once more.

27-Nov-2000
Peugeot signs Didier to replace sacked Francois Delecour. Peugeot deal is salvation for Didier because his current team Seat quits at the end of 2000 season.

Apr-1997
Toyota signs Didier for 1997-1998, first to test and develop new Corolla WRC and drive old Celica in few rallies, later to spearhead WRC assault with Corolla.
