Spectating with a Purpose
Holmes on the stages of Rally Finland with Finnish motorsport magazine reporters who measure rally car speeds with radars and make comparisons out of their measurement results. Most of the article concentrates on various measurements, both on straights and into and out of corners, with the inevitable conclusion that in Finland, fastest time on stage is never recorded by the driver who goes flat out over the jumps.
Petter Solberg - The Man from Norway
Story of Ford's surprise signing for 1999 season, Petter Solberg. As this biography was written before Petter became world champion or won rallies or, in fact, before he got full championship programme with a WRC team, it is very interesting and gives unique insight Petter as a person.
