Rally history
decoration
The focus of juwra.com is on World Rally Championship and that is why the coverage starts from 1973. Rallying was not invented then, in fact most of rally sport's history predates the Championship. In this section some light is shed on pre-WRC rallying in an attempt to establish some background for early WRC seasons. That era is so vast and unorganised, causing any attempt to cover it in brief always falling short of target. If you are not deterred by that, do take a voyage in time.

Pretty much everything with four wheels were taken into rallies, like Ford Mustang pictured right on Monte Carlo 1966. I have seen pictorial evidence of Rolls Royce being rallied, even!
