Ott Tanak

Tanak ended up winning even though for most of the rally the battle for the lead was between Neuville and Ogier. Neuville went off on second day and Ogier had small problems early on final day before going off for good. After that, Tanak settled in and didn't even go for Sunday or PS points. Elfyn Evans

Evans (pictured) was fast but there always was someone faster than him. Evans was outside of podium until first Neuville and then Ogier went off, landing Evans a second place overall. Despite these hardships, he scored more points than anyone else, a proof of solid and even performance despite not having winning pace. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Gregoire Munster

Munster (pictured) ended up finishing ahead of his team-mate even though at times it seemed that he wasn't even trying. Despite supposedly being expert on tarmac, early on Munster trailed everyone except Serderis. Admittedly he suffered from road pollution early on but his performance was pitiful, he gained places only thanks to everyone else's problems. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
